I have been craving a pair of these for a while but I wasn't sure what type of "espadrilles" I wanted. There are so many options, of course I'll link some below. However, when I saw these- it was love at first sight. I love the lace up around the ankles and they fit perfectly!

Happy Tuesday Y'all!
Here is my second "Lilly Look". I wore this for date night with my Hubs, but the options you have with this top are endless. First, if you've found this top online but are unsure about the fit I can tell you, this top fits true to size. Second, the material is so soft and of course I love the Nosie Posey print! Like I said, I wore this for date night but you could totally wear this with some shorts and sandals. I'm actually super excited to wear this top again. In fact, I'm actually taking this top to Europe!

1. Gerard cosmetics has done it again! Rodeo Drive is my JAM. It's the perfect "my lips but better" color and it works for any season! It's also super pigmented and creamy, I'm loving it! Y'all know I love me some long wearing lip stains, but lately I've been reaching for Rodeo Drive over my lip stains! Shocking, I know!
2. Cargo Bronzer... This is the perfect bronzer. No shimmer, the perfect balance between warm and cool toned, and it's long wearing. It also blends like a dream and doesn't look muddy at all. I have worn this bronzer every day since I purchased it. I wear the shade medium.

3.OPI "what's with the catitude" I'm loving blues lately. I usually only wear nudes and pinks on my nails, but there's something about blue lately. I think this color is the perfect shade of baby blue. It's opaque and doesn't chip easily...Always a plus for a girl who types ALL day long!
4. This is my FAVORITE favorite of the month. MAC blush in the color "Buff". It is my new holy grail blush I will forever repurchase and wear this blush. Y'all know how much I love blushes- this one is the best. It's perfect for any skin tone, perfectly pigmented, and long wearing. Not kidding, I've worn this bad boy every single day this month and it's also the only blush I'm taking to Europe!
5. These dupes are amazing. Are the the BEST quality sandal I've ever owned? No. But they're amazing for being trendy. I refuse to purchase something over $500 dollars without trying it out and seeing how much I actually like it! It only makes sense, and these dupes are really making me want to purchase the real deal. I just ordered these in black too! Again, I'm only taking 3 pairs of shoes for Europe, and these are one of the three!
6. I was hesitant to talk about this product, only because I am about to try out some new skincare products. However, I have been using this cleanser for MONTHS and I love it. I have temperamental- very high maintenance skin! I use one wrong product and my skin goes bananas for weeks. This stuff cleans out my skin without making it feel tight. I tend to always do well with "charcoal" products, so if you're into that- jump on this stuff. It's super good!
7. My new little notebook! I got this as a Christmas gift, but it got lost in the wedding whirlwind and I just recently found it. I love to have a notebook to jot down any ideas I have or reminders that I need. This little booger is super cute, the perfect size, and I love the gold! Thanks Hannah!
8. Boyfriend & Distressed ANYTHING. I have been wearing nothing but distressed boyfriend pieces. I love the boyfriend shorts I recently purchased (here)! If y'all are worried about boyfriend jeans looking too baggy, I suggest ordering a size down and it's also best if you try them on in store!

Okay, so I may be pouring salt in some wounds, but I made out like a bandit at the Lilly Launch.
Here's how my Lilly Loony-bin Launch went:
1. I set an alarm on my phone to remind me of the launch day MONTHS ago. So on Friday the 17th, I was reminded.
2. I scoped the catalog and marked what "online" only items I wanted and what "in store" items I wanted.
3. I stayed up until 3 am and went BANANAS online. It was the craziest experience I've ever had online shopping! I would add something to my cart, the page would refresh, and one of my items would disappear from my cart...UHM... excuse me...what! It was like the internet Lilly's were already prying goods out of my little hands. I vividly remember thinking "WHAT IS HAPPENING, IS THIS EVEN REAL LIFE"! I didn't get the really cute high waisted bikini I wanted but, I did manage to get the two sandals I wanted... HA! Take that!
4. I went to sleep around 4 am, but woke up at 5:30 and crept out of my house, got Starbucks, and headed to my local Target (it opened at 8am). TC heard me leaving and he said he thought "she is so serious, she is out for blood". HA!
5. I was the first person in the parking lot, however not even 10 minutes later there were a good 10 other cars. They just kept trickling in. . and my heart would race every time I saw a new person pull up.
6. 7 am, Someone starts the line. Car doors are slamming, car alarms beeping, we are all speed walking towards those two red automatic doors.
7. Everyone is playing nice and there isn't a "real" line at this point. Its more of a huddle. Huddle is actually a perfect adjective because everyone is making their game plans clear. Watch out for the girl in the lime green- she's going for the button up.
8. TC texts. He's coming up to target. Worried for my safety and my sanity if I didn't get everything on my list. I can tell everyone is ticked that I'm bringing a second set of arms. Do I care? NO. Watch out. I'm not here to make friends, I'm here for the loot.
9. TC shows up. It's like the Hunger Games. I show him the items and briefly explain where they are going to be located. I'm pretty sure I told him verbatim "Get the weekender bag and EVERY SINGLE SCARF you can". *insert death stare into his soul*.
10. 8:00 am The doors open. Everyone walks through the first set of doors but then.. this random girl takes off, I'm talking full speed sprinting! So I take off like I'm Usain Bolt. I make it to the clothing racks. I'm grabbing everything in my size. Hands and feet are flying around me. I can't see anything but the colorful prints. My eyes are on the prize.
11. I have everything I wanted. It is all mine. I see TC, he got the weekender bag and the scarf. We are victorious. We are champions.
12. 8:03 am TC says "Lets get out of here. I feel like we are about to get beat up". There really were women death staring us and anyone else who got anything.
13. We check out. Walk out. Watch out world. We are the titans. THE MIGHTY MIGHTY TITANS.

Okay, so I may be pouring salt in some wounds, but I made out like a bandit at the Lilly Launch.
Here's how my Lilly Loony-bin Launch went:

HAPPY FRIDAY!
So I get a ton of questions about what I wear to work, so I thought I would do a post about it.
However, I just want to put a disclaimer out there because, I work in a very causal atmosphere. I know a lot of you may not be allowed to wear distressed jeans to work, and if that's the case you can always swap jeans for slacks with any of these outfits. If you would like to see how I would dress for work in a more professional way- let me know. I would be happy to put some professional looks together. However, you guys asked what I wear to work, so here it is!

I finally caved and bought two pair and it's been the best decision I've made this spring (besides getting to Target 2 hours before they open for the Lilly launch- but that's a different story). These shorts are so comfortable and they can be paired with so many different tops. Here I paired it with my favorite striped tee and tucked it in for a more fitted look. I love mixing stripes with leopard too, so I had to bust out this cute clutch.

OKAY now for the most important part of this post.... THE DUCKS! I wish I had some duck feed or grapes to give them! They weren't scared of me at all, so obviously they're used to human interaction. If you look over my shoulder in the second to last pic you'll see these all black ducks- I've never seen ducks like these. Their feathers were blue-black and so shiny, they were beautiful!

So I've seen these Bermuda or "boyfriend" style shorts everywhere lately! I finally caved and bought two pair and it's been the best decision I've made this spring (besides getting to Target 2 hours before they open for the Lilly launch- but that's a different story). These shorts are so comfortable and they can be paired with so many different tops. Here I paired it with my favorite striped tee and tucked it in for a more fitted look. I love mixing stripes with leopard too, so I had to bust out this cute clutch.
