1. Kacey Musgraves: I always finds her way back to the top of my playlist. I listen to her covers, first album, and current album on and off all the time. I'm currently loving her cover of the song Yellow. **Fun Fact! I walked down the isle to the string version of Yellow by Coldplay, so this song means more to me than most.
2. Kings Of Leon: I forgot about this album, but recently rediscovered it! I'm specifically loving the song Fans and Ragoo.
3.The New Basement Tapes: When I get my hands on you is MY JAM right now. Slightly stompy, & extremely funky. This album has a really cool story behind it, here's a great read!
4.Houndmouth: The song Darlin is so sweet, so good, such an easy song to listen too.
5.Bahamas: All The Time. I really like this song, again..it's kind of funky.

About a month ago I posted on snapchat that I purchased a bottle of Micellar water, and a lot of you asked for a review! So, as promised, here it is!

For those of you who aren't familiar with Micellar water, it's a cleanser that is suppose to remove make up, cleanse, and refresh. Micellar water also claims to not use as many sulfates as other cleansers, making it more gentle on the skin. As you might have guessed from the name, it has the consistency of water and little to no fragrance. There are many brands who have released their version of this type of cleanser, I personally picked up Garnier's version.

So, did I like it? Let's discuss my experience with Micellar Water...

Personally, I probably wouldn't repurchase this product. I wear waterproof mascara, and it definitely doesn't remove waterproof make up. I also noticed that it required a LOT of product just to remove even light make up. Contrary to the claims, I found I had to really rub to remove my make up with this product. Lastly, I didn't notice any real "hydrating" benefits.

With that being said, I do like to use this product in the morning! Seeing as how I do not need to remove any make up in the morning, this cleanser does a really nice job prepping my skin for the day. I like that this is quicker to use than my usual morning cleanser and it has no fragrance!

Brave product score 4.3 out of 10, it's just Eh.

So this morning I have already managed to spill my coffee twice, pray for me y'all.
If you follow me on snapchat you'll know that my Mondays got a little bit better now that the Bachelor is back on! I started watching the show a couple seasons back and I'm totally hooked. Not to mention, I met Ben H... so I feel a deep connection with the show this season, haha!
With that being said, I'm not cryin' over my spilt coffee this morning. I've got tonight to look forward too! (insert hallelujah emoji hands)

I had a super laid back weekend and decided to go out and run a couple errands that we've been putting off for a couple weeks now. I threw on this vest because a cold front was blowing in and I had been waiting to wear it! It's so stinkin' cute y'all. I think I'm going to style it again over a button down flannel dress later this week, because I love it that much!
Keep your peepers peepin' because later this week I'll have a review over the Micellar water you guys requested!
Happy Monday Y'all!
Big love & Ben H hugs,

Cardigan: under 40 bucks! | My pull over is from Old Navy. Similar: here | My crossbody, yes I ordered it in both colors. It's that good! | My earrings: here | Raybans: here |
Another day, another amazing purchase from my favorite boutique! You honestly can't go wrong with anything the Happy Goose Sells. I want you to know, that I sing their praises for a reason! I love every single item I've ever purchased from THG shop! Seriously, you won't be let down!

Now let's get on into the styling of this post!
First, that little bag you see slung around me is my new favorite! It's a great size, holds my full size wallet, cell phone, keys, and some makeup! Not bad for a cross-body. It's also made from soft-suede like material and I love that it works with everything.

Second, have y'all noticed I've been on an aztec-tejas kick for a hot second? I really feel if my soul had a print.. it would be aztec with saguaro cactus polka dots.. if that makes sense? When I style outfits like this, I feel best. I used to try and follow trends and I always hated how the posts turned out. I finally feel that I'm coming into my own and that's something to be proud of.
Lastly, I'm not apologizing for how many times I wear these jeans. They're perfection, and you don't apologize for perfection. Ha!

Such a sad day.

With a Heavy Heart

Such a sad day.
If I'm being honest, I think puffer vests can be a little intimidating. Not to mention, down here in the south we don't have a serious need for heavy layering. However, not many things intimidate me and I never needed a reason to buy something cute.
I love puffer vests and I'm thinkin' you should too.
I decided to dedicate an entire post to the good ol puffer vest and style one a couple different ways. That way you can see just how cute, versatile, and fun they really are! Not to mention, they're super warm and extra soft. You don't need to layer a heavy jacket over this and it works over sweater dresses? Does it get any better? I think not! Styling a Puffer Vest Three Ways

| Buffalo Check Top: hereherehere | Great plaid alternatives: here/here/here |

| Jeans: Free People: find them here they don't stretch |
| My booties: here fit is true to size |
I dress based on how I feel that day and this day I was feeling tough! (insert muscle emoji) Not that this outfit is super masculine, but it's dressed down, simple, and very much tomboy-ish. I believe a good buffalo print flannel should be a permanent resident in every women's closet. Some days I wear a white tee, leggings and tie this flannel around my waist. Other days I'll wear it over a striped dress and pair it with converse.  Lastly, you could dress this bad boy up by tucking it into cropped pants with a statement belt!

I can not stress how important it is to invest in a quality flannel. I know it's tough to splurge, but I'd rather my closet staples lasts more than a couple washes. I tend to spend a little more on items that I know are timeless and easy to pair with tons of different outfits (and moods, ha-ha). If you're wondering, Rails makes the best plaid tops and buttons up around. I only own 2 of their shirts (because mama's gotta eat and they cost a pretty penny), but I swear by them!

So go ahead- treat yourself! Thank me later ;)
Cheers to another week y'all!
