It has been raining cats and dogs in Texas! I know it's summer and it's hot, but there is something so comforting about a loose fitting long sleeve top when it's raining. I like this top in particular because it's so lightweight and the neon color screams summer! I'll also insert a picture of how I wore this shirt the other day with some Bermuda shorts & how I wore it over a dress. The possibilities with this top are endless!
I also wanted to mention my new phone case that my mother in law gave me for my Birthday. I love gifts that are useful and it doesn't hurt that it is so pretty!

So I've gotten a couple of questions about what swimmies I've purchased, so I thought I would do a quick little post about it!
First, I always buy suits that I can mix and match.
Second, I try and buy all different types of swimmies.
I love a good one piece as much as I love separates!
Third, I shop all over for my summer swim and accessories! I do not have a favorite store or brand.

Second shipping is quick and easy, which is always a plus. Lastly, the website is flawless. They have paypal which makes purchasing super easy and inventory is always correct. This is a big pet peeve of mine! No one likes to receive an email after purchase notifying you that the top you think you bought is actually sold out. Such a buzzkill, right?
I have genuinely loved everything I've purchased from The Happy Goose Shop and you better believe I'm always checking the new arrivals!

Happy Wednesday Y'all!
Most of my blogger friends will probably already know about this gem of a shop because the owner was a blogger before she owned her boutique!
That boutique has quickly become my new obsession... what's the name of the boutique you ask?

Its the Happy Goose Shop!
First off, this shop has more tassels and pom-poms than I know what to do with! It has a boho vibe and every item screams comfort (right up my alley, I know)!
Since their opening I have ordered a couple different tops and dresses and I can't sing their praises loud enough. First, The quality of their clothing is A+ and the items are amazingly priced! Second shipping is quick and easy, which is always a plus. Lastly, the website is flawless. They have paypal which makes purchasing super easy and inventory is always correct. I went shopping during the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale and when I got home I noticed I was really feeling the color blue! I bought so many blue items! We flew from Rome--->Barcelona
Everyone asks the same question, "what was your favorite city?" I honestly can't choose one out of the four we visited! However, I can tell you if I had to choose I'd pick Barcelona! Spain is magical, there is no other way to put it. It is endearing, romantic, and everyone is always smiling! The city buzzes around you but no one is really in a hurry. They also have the best of both worlds, old world history and a modern society. You see some of the best architecture in the world in Barcelona, so detailed and beautiful. I would catch myself just open-mouth staring at every building. Even downtown in the central part of the city, the buildings have character. Barcelona will always have a piece of my heart and I can not wait to go back again.
Let's get into what we did while in the last city of our trip!
ps. if you visit to Barcelona, go to the beach... It is incredible!
pss.we ate the most delicious crepes filled with nutella and various toppings every. single. night.
Day One: Park Guell
We landed in Barcelona mid afternoon and immediately headed over to see Park Guell. It is known as "one of the most impressive parks in the world" and that is a very true statement! It was originally built to serve as a housing community but that idea didn't take and today it is a public park. There are these cute little houses with the best architectural details that reminded me of ginger bread houses! The roofs reminded me of icing and all the colorful details reminded me of different types of candy!
The park also has one of the best views overlooking Barcelona! I'm terrified of heights but I made sure to get to the edge of the look out and take it all in. We ended our trip with some espresso in the park and we waited for the sun to seat before heading home!

Train Venice à Rome
We took a train from Venice to Rome. It was around a 3 hour train ride and got to see a lot of the beautiful Italian countryside. Everything was so green and getting to see so many of the Italian vineyards throughout the train ride was amazing. Rome was a very large city and very busy around every corner you would turn. Seeing some of the sights and learning about the amount of history and how far history goes back in this city was amazing.
Day 1 – Pantheon / Dinner
We arrived in the afternoon and made our way to the hotel which was conveniently a nice short walk from the train station. We checked into the hotel (which was the smallest room so far, but had adjustable/massaging beds! and quickly changed to go see our first sight, The Pantheon. Walking around the outside and touring the inside of the Pantheon was stunning. It is amazing to think that Roman Emperor’s walked on the same marble floors that are still there today. It was unbelievable to see how good of shape the temple is still in after all these years. After the Patheon we went to dinner, which was amazing. I swear pasta is 10x better in Italy. We followed dinner with a gelato date and called it a night!
