Train Venice à Rome
We took a train from Venice to Rome. It was around a 3 hour train ride and got to see a lot of the beautiful Italian countryside. Everything was so green and getting to see so many of the Italian vineyards throughout the train ride was amazing. Rome was a very large city and very busy around every corner you would turn. Seeing some of the sights and learning about the amount of history and how far history goes back in this city was amazing.

Day 1 – Pantheon / Dinner
We arrived in the afternoon and made our way to the hotel which was conveniently a nice short walk from the train station. We checked into the hotel (which was the smallest room so far, but had adjustable/massaging beds! and quickly changed to go see our first sight, The Pantheon. Walking around the outside and touring the inside of the Pantheon was stunning. It is amazing to think that Roman Emperor’s walked on the same marble floors that are still there today. It was unbelievable to see how good of shape the temple is still in after all these years. After the Patheon we went to dinner, which was amazing. I swear pasta is 10x better in Italy. We followed dinner with a gelato date and called it a night!

Pink Top//Similar, only $24!//  Kendra Scott Danielle Earrings in "Chalcedony" // GiGi Clutch mine isn't monogrammed, but I wish it was!// White Denim

I love a pink girly-girl outfit! I always feel so chic in pink and it always lifts my mood! I should probably wear pink every Monday to make my Mondays easier.
(insert Mean Girls meme!)
I used to be terrified to wear white, because I'm such a klutz.
but lately, I have been wearing white every chance I get!
Hope you're having a great end to your week, come on Friday!
Big almost Friday hugs,

Nude sandals  (on sale)// My blouse is old, similar here & here // Super Similar Jeans// Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody// Loreal Lipstick in "Permanent Blush"

I'm going to go ahead and apologize in advance for how many times I'm going to be wearing these heels! I have been on the hunt for months for the perfect nude heel, and I have finally found them! I wanted a nude strappy heel, without a tall heel.  I honestly think these are the perfect shade of nude and they're super comfortable! I'm also obsessing over white staple pieces lately, they always make my outfits feel so crisp. This specific white blouse has the cutest ruffle detail and I love the fit!
Big Hugs,

Venice was the perfect place to visit after the hustle and bustle of Paris. Time isn't relevant and everyone just goes with the flow. The city is beautiful with it's interlaced canals and beautiful buildings with traced arches. I loved all the leaning buildings that made the alleyways so romantic and enchanting. I don't think either of us will ever eat Italian food the same again. The pizza and the pastas were made fresh and Gelato could be found on every corner.
Oh, Venice was so beautiful.

We flew from Paris--->Venice

It was a dream, y'all.
It's funny, everyone at home said it felt like we were gone for MONTHS but for us it flew by!
I can tell you we got extremely lucky, it only rained ONCE our entire trip, we never felt unsafe, and all of our hotels were so nice!

Anyway, I'll just get into the first part of our trip... We did SO MUCH that I had to break it into parts!

We flew from Austin--->Chicago--->Paris

Day one in Paris!
We landed too early to "check in" to our room, but the hotel held our bags for us and we decided to hit the ground running.
We went to visit the Louvre museum where they have the Mona Lisa! Yes, THE Mona Lisa. They also have a ton of other exhibits and features that blew our socks off.
After the Louvre we were on a high and headed to our hotel to change (it was a little chilly) and then we headed over to the Eiffel Tower. It is unbelievable. It took us a good 5 minutes to believe that we were actually standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. It's massive and so beautiful from every angle. We did go back that evening to see it all lit up and it was magical! What was really cool is that our hotel was located to where if we walked outside we could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance!
We ended day one with a cute dinner and wine and called it a night!
